Runic magic falls into its own category. It is not divine nor arcane magic. It is simply rune magic.
Runic magic draws power from the world itself. It delves into the primal, primordial energies that
surround us and draws power from them.
Only a dwarf can use runic magic. Dwarves are unable of learning any form of arcane magic, but
there are experts in using runic magic. A dwarf wizard must select runic magic as its specialization
school and cast only spells from it. A dwarf sorcerer can only cast runic magic spell school spells.
When specializing in runic magic, you must select two additional spell schools. You can use only
spells from the selected spell school for purpose of runic magic.
Example:
If you have selected an evocation school, while using scribe fire rune spell, you can enchant
a runic stone with a fireball spell. That way, when you use a runic stone, it will cast a fireball
spell from it. If you haven't selected evocation school, you can't enchant a runic stone with
a fireball spell. Each runic stone lasts until midnight unless otherwise noted.
